In case you haven't heard...

We are having a baby! Nate and I can't wait till February 10th (due date) when we get to meet him...yep, HIM! I have to admit that I had tears in my eyes when the doctor told us it was a boy, I wanted the baby to be a boy so bad. Here are some pictures of our little critter.

This is his right arm, looks strong right?

Here is his right foot. He's a big boy, already 1 ounce ahead of the average = )

His little fingers.

The doctor finally got him to flip over, he was not happy about it. This is like the only profile picture where he wasn't kicking and trying to flip back over. He likes being on his tummy.

Last but not least this is his nose and lips, the doctor said that he has a little overbite (not surprised with a mom like me, probably a thumb sucker too!)

Nate got inspired to find out what was under the carpet in our dining room, the corners looked good so we ripped out the carpet to discover the rest of the very used 70's linoleum. So now we are moving up the reflooring project to after the windows are done. = )

Max has always loved to dig through Nate's woodpile but when we came home to him playing with this stick we were truly surprised. He is always doing something to make us laugh.

When Nate's parents were in town we went up to the mountains to pick huckle berries. Nate picked the most with his mom as a close second.

Our sad attempt at a garden this year gave us some pretty good tomatoes.

The prettiest thing we saw all summer was Crater Lake. It was a beautiful day, we have to go back and take our time looking around.

A waterfall we visited. It was huge!

JJ, Jamie and Tank! We camped with them for 3 nights, a new record for me.

Family picture!

Nate and Max checking out old cave drawings.

One of the hikes to the waterfall, reminds me of Swiss Family Robinson.

Nate has been pretty busy working on turning our office into the new baby room. You can probably tell we have a long ways to go! That's it for now!

Winter

Time to catch up!

We got to watch Max's girlfriend over a weekend in January. They had such a great time together.

Nate and I took Max on a much needed trip to the beach. It was the day we were suppose to have a tsunami so the beach was deserted which made it great for us.

We said Goodbye to Nadya and Kylie. They went back to Brazil, we will miss them a lot...

My Birthday was this past week (March 19th) . I was lucky to have a few parties to celebrate my 28th birthday, I know, I can barely believe it too. I had a double birthday party with my friend Erika. Thanks again for those amazing cakes! At the Winegardner party Nadya tried to prematurely age me by putting 46 candles on my birthday cake. I have never felt older = )

And last but not least, Max got me a present on my birthday too. He did not shop off my list though. He dug up a rabbits nest and got me a baby bunny. It was so tiny, it's eyes weren't open yet. The vet said to put it back in the nest and the mommy would come get it later that night. LIES!!! Next time I won't do that (if there is a next time).

That's it for now!

Lately...

So it has been a while since I have posted anything. I got a new job in September and it keeps me pretty busy. It is a lot of fun to be learning so much new stuff and everyone there is great(www.adventuredental.com).
A few big things have happened in the last few months. My friend since forever ago got married! I got to be the maid of honor in her wedding. Here are some pictures of when we went out for her bachlorette party and got our nails done before the wedding.

Nate has finished putting in our new windows this last month. We were glad for the extra help from a few friends and family. Our house stays a lot warmer and the windows don't sweat which makes me happy!

Which reminds me...the other day Erik (Nate's brother who is staying with us) fell asleep in an unusual place and made someone upset...

For Thanksgiving we went to Idaho to visit Nate's side of the family. We also made it in time (barely) to help celebrate Marilyn's (Nate's Mom) Birthday. I got to practice my amazing pizza topping picking skills, I don't get to do that very often anymore.
Here is a picture from the ride over. Max doesn't like to limit himself to only backseat activties and trys to stay involved in everything going on in the car.

On the way to Grandpa and Grandma Hopper's house for Thanksgiving we encountered some cows that were out of the fences. On the way home Charles almost creamed one. Apparently you can't see them in the dark when they aren't facing you.

We got to hang out with our flower girl from our wedding, Adelia, and her brother Rowan. She reintroduced me to "Melissa Kitty" who has made it through an entire winter in a compost pile. She has luckily been washed and is still loved.

Here are some pictures of Adelia cuddling with Nate and Rowan playing. Adelia said that Nate is cuddly and so is she, except "her bum bones and her knees".

After Dinner Grandpa Hopper told us some stories about him being in school. See if you can pick out which kid he is in the picture.

We also went for a walk around part of the farm and then had a bon fire (it was big, you just can't tell in the pictures) and had smores.

Marilyn and Charles took us out to some sanddunes to play for a while. We had a great time together! We almost got hit by a train...sort of. Max and Buddy (Charle's dog) had a great time rolling and digging in the sand.

Here is a final photo of us on the way home.

Well, I think that catches this blog up. Hope all is well with everyone reading this!
