Happy New Year!

So, I am a little late. One of my resolutions this year is to try to stay in closer contact with family and friends and I hope this is a great way to do it.
Our puppy Max is getting bigger, he is 54 lbs now. He likes to think that he can still fit in your lap though. He loved catching snowballs and running in the yard with all the snow we got in the last few weeks. Once it got icy he won't walk far from the back door so we had to watch our steps. Max is starting to warm up to our family and friends. He is a little nervous but very sweet once your around him long enough.

We enjoyed having the Smith side of the family over for Christmas day. There was so much good food, we had leftover for a week. The day after Christmas we headed up north to Marysville to visit with the Reed side. It was so much fun getting to play with the two babies.

We are still trying to work on the house slowly. With Nate in school now we don't get to much done. We did just buy a new wood burning fireplace insert. I am definitely not sad to see the old one go. It had a buck on it and two gold chipmunks.

Well, I guess this was a good start to my resolution. Come back and check if I post again!
