Playing Catch Up!

Well I know I am not doing that great of a job keeping up on our blog. I think about posting things but I never get around to it. Let's see if I can get some of it out.
We have starting going to the dog park with Max in the last month or so. He is getting over his fear of people and actually runs to strangers trying to lick them. We ran into one of his brothers at the park, do you think they look alike?

In January we went on a trip to Sunriver OR with our New Roots group from church. We had a great time relaxing and getting to know other couples. It was snowing while we were there so the drive home was a little scary but Nate did a great job.

Max has a girlfriend named Coby. He loves having her over to play. They run around until you think there is no way they could possibly have any more energy, they lay down and then one of them (usually Max) will paw at the other and they are off again.

We have been going on hikes, or at least trying to get out for a walk on the weekends. Here are some pictures from our walk at Moulton Falls.

Nate's parents came into town for a few days to help celebrate Nadya's birthday. The whole family pitched in and got her a table and four chairs. We ate her birthday dinner at her new table without her knowing it. She thought that I had two tables. It was pretty funny when she found out that it was her gift. Here's a picture of Marilyn and her granddaughter Kylie reading.

Last but not least, we spent Valentine's Day at the beach. We went to Fort Steven's and Astoria. We had so much fun just relaxing and not having any responsibility. It was decent weather, very pretty but a little cold.

I will have to make a point to get on here more often so it's not so much at once! Enjoy the end of winter! Cross your fingers about not getting anymore snow.
